Strus, who has started in all 60 games this season for the Cavaliers, will sit out the opener of a back-to-back set. The Cavaliers are scheduled to face the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old Strus has been averaging 12.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 32.2 minutes per game this season.

In addition to Strus, All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell will also be absent from Tuesday’s game and the next two contests after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection to treat a bone bruise. Guard Caris LeVert and forward Isaac Okoro are listed as questionable for Tuesday’s matchup.
