Bill Gates and His Girlfriend’s Lavish Attire at Ultra-Rich Pre-Wedding Bash

Billionaire Bill Gates and his girlfriend donned traditional Indian attire while attending a pre-wedding celebration ahead of the wedding of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani’s son.

According to the New York Post, Bill Gates, along with Paula Hurd and numerous world-renowned CEOs, attended the three-day event (March 1-3) for Anant – the son of Mukesh Ambani, held at Ambani’s Jamnagar real estate enclave, valued at $120 million.

Bill Gates expressed his enthusiasm to the Times of India about attending his first pre-wedding ceremony in India, stating, “I am enjoying this. It will be hard to attend another Indian wedding after this one. I will be in the spirit, wearing fantastic Indian attire.”

As per India Today, the Ambani family had prepared all the event attire for guests since last year, assigning consultants to advise and guide guests on attire selection. Bill Gates wore two different contrasting outfits, complementing his girlfriend’s attire.

On March 3rd, Bill Gates wore beige attire, comprising a bandhgala coat and slim trousers. This type of coat combines Western styling with Indian hand embroidery, typically worn at formal events like weddings and gatherings. Meanwhile, his girlfriend wore a black saree adorned with metallic accents.

The previous day, he wore a black achkan embroidered with floral motifs paired with matching trousers. Beside him, Paula Hurd wore a salwar kameez, consisting of a long tunic and wide-legged nude trousers adorned with sequins and stones. She paired the outfit with metallic high-heeled sandals and a jacket.

After the party, they traveled to Da Nang, Hoi An for sightseeing on March 4th, staying at a five-star resort in Son Tra district. The couple has reportedly been together since 2022, confirmed in February 2023; Paula Hurd is the widow of Mark Hurd, CEO of Oracle software company. She has held various business and management positions at NCR software company.

Bill Gates, born in 1955, is the co-founder of the world’s largest software conglomerate, Microsoft, having served as chairman, CEO, and chief software architect. He is considered a pioneer of the computer revolution in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 1987, he has been listed on Forbes’ list of the world’s billionaires and held the title of the world’s richest person from 1995 to 2017, except for 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

As of March, Gates’ net worth is $149 billion, ranking fifth globally. After stepping down from his executive role at Microsoft in 2008, he has continued to pursue business and philanthropic ventures. He is the founder and chairman of several companies such as BEN, Cascade Investment, TerraPower, bgC3, and Breakthrough Energy. He also donates large sums to charitable organizations and scientific research programs through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – the world’s largest private philanthropic organization.
